| The Central Library, IIT Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with IEEE Xplore, organised an offline training programme titled “Writing Quality Technical Papers & New Features of IEEE Xplore” on 7th October 2026. The programme was attended by over 44 participants, including faculty members, research scholars, students, and staff. The programme began with a welcome address by Dr. Sambhunath Sahoo. Dr. Dhanukumar Pattanashetti, IEEE Client Services, served as the resource person and delivered an informative session on improving technical paper quality, understanding editorial and reviewer expectations, avoiding common causes of rejection, selecting appropriate publication venues, and utilising IEEE authorship tools. Participants were also introduced to the latest IEEE Xplore features, including image search, immersive articles, and the Xplore AI tool, along with methods for identifying research opportunities and tracking emerging technology trends. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sambhunath Sahoo, Assistant Librarian, who acknowledged the resource person, IEEE Xplore, and all participants. The initiative contributed to enhancing research and scholarly publishing skills among the academic community. |
