Collection and Resources

The Central Library’s current Book and Online E-resources collection practice aims to meet the requirement of all the schools such as School of Infrastructure (Civil Engineering, Architecture, Transportation Engineering etc.), School of Electrical Sciences (Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science etc.), School of Mechanical Sciences and School of Basic Sciences (i.e Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), School of Humanities Social Sciences & Management (Economics, English & Literature, Management, Psychology etc.), School of Earth Oceania & Climate Sciences and School of Minerals & Metallurgy. The Book collection is divided into Text Books, Teacher Reference, Reserved Books, General and Reference category. The Library also developed separate collection of Annual reports, Non Book Materials in the form of Theses, CD/DVDs, Periodicals & Magazines etc.
